About 3/20

ChrisChris is the President and also Co-founder of 3/20. Growing up in Durham, NC he played a lot of sports and learned how to ski at a young age. Water sports quickly became his passion and each year he spent a great deal of time at the lake water skiing with his family and friends.

Throughout the years Chris has competed in kneeboarding and wakeboarding tournaments.  However, he has come to understand that his passion for water sports is from God and is to be used as a means of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others.

Now Chris finds great joy in teaching other people the basics of the sport. In 2004 Chris married Kathy, who has a love for the nations, and has since traveled to several different countries to share how Jesus Christ has changed his life. Now his claim to fame is wakeboarding on the Nile River.

KathyKathy is the Vice President of 3/20 and also Co-founder along with her husband, Chris. She grew up in Lakeland, FL and always had a love for music. As a child she even dreamed of one day becoming a well known singer. However, God had other plans.

After graduating from high school Kathy went to work for Publix Supermarkets, Inc. for 18 years. While working fulltime she was very involved with both the youth (discipleship, youth choir, youth praise band, Sunday School teacher) and music program at Kathleen Baptist Church in Lakeland, FL.

In 1994 Kathy took her first international mission trip to Ecuador. Then in 1998 Kathy took a leave from work and spent eight weeks working with Theee Resource Ministries (now Global Youth Ministry) hosting youth camps in the states and abroad.

At the close of that summer she felt God was leading her to pursue a different calling and became more actively involved in Missions. Since her first mission trip Kathy has traveled in over 30 countries and coordinated numerous mission trips for groups from many different backgrounds.

Kathy’s dream is to see the world!
